F&M at The Rockpile Video Shoot

What do you do when you find yourself in the magestic mountains near Lake Louise, Canada with the incredibly talented duo Ryan and Becky, who together form the core of Canadian Baroque pop group F&M?  Well, they had their wit and talent and musical instruments and I had my camera gear so we ventured out to Moraine Lake for an impromptu mini-concert at a curious mound of rock known as The Rockpile.  You may recognize Moraine Lake from its use as a background image for Google’s Android operating system, from past versions of the Canadian twenty dollar bill, from its appearance as one of Windows 7’s backgrounds or from the fact that this is one of the most photographed spots in Canada.

Because this was impromptu, the opportunity for production value was low (e.g. you can hear me breathing heavily from the 30 m (100 ft) elevation gain, there’s a sensor spot visible in one video) but I hope you enjoy their obvious talent and the stunning scenery.

To listen to more of F&M’s beautiful music and to buy their albums visit their website at http://www.fandmtheband.com/.

We shot four of their songs.  For a playlist of all four songs click below.
