My presentation at Pecha Kucha Night 12

It was a pleasure to be asked by the organizers of Pecha Kucha Nights in Edmonton to give a presentation about Miguelito’s Little Green Car, one of my personal photography projects. The project is a long-term art project for my eight year-old nephew meant to illustrate the fact that we are all connected. For information about the project, please refer to http://www.leroyschulz.com/2014/projects/miguelitos-little-green-car/ and the project website at http://www.miguelitoslittlegreencar.com.

Haven’t heard of Pecha Kucha?  In their words, it was “devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.”  It follows a very simple format of each presenter showing 20 images for 20 seconds each with the images advancing automatically.  The concept has proven itself to be very popular.   It has spread to over 500 cities worldwide.

For more information see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PechaKucha and http://www.pechakucha.org.

The Edmonton Journal recorded and archived my presentation on YouTube.  You can watch it below. Enjoy.
